Why do we think this area is so good? Well, for starters, goose hunting pressure in Wyoming is extremely light relative to other outstanding hunting areas. This certainly helps, but the other thing is that this particular area has a number of refuge areas set up to give migrating birds resting areas. Those resting areas coupled with plenty of food crops for them keep these geese in the area for extended periods of time.
