Minnesota provides quality goose and duck hunting in many areas of the State for MN Early season goose hunting, Fall season and Late season goose hunts. If there is food and water in abundance geese and ducks will find it! Giant Canada's and ducks migrate and take over residency through out Minnesota with the abundant lakes, rivers, ponds and food. The goose population continues to grow in Minnesota due to resident geese. Meaning these geese don't migrate North and stay in suburbs in the state all year long and hatch their young in Minnesota.
