Our Canada Goose hunts take place in Rochester, MN, the home of the Giant Canada Goose. Rochester is where the Giant Canada Geese were discovered in the early 30s and grew into a huge population. We hunt corn, bean, and alfalfa fields, along with a few pastures. Our hunts here take place in pits, A-frames, and layout blinds. We only offer hunts here for a small period during the peak of the season to ensure hunter success. Rochester is a big town with lots to do and lots of lodging options.

One of the hottest hunting areas in Minnesota in Fergus Falls. Being a major staging area for waterfowl migrating from Canada and northern Minnesota, Fergus Falls has open water year round thanks to our friends at Ottertail Power. They have a coal burning, electricity producing plant that dumps warm water from there cooling towers into the Ottertail River, which in turn keeps the river open from the plant all thru town. From field hunting Canada geese, to hunting a huge water spread. We also offer duck hunts for Mallards in the corn fields also. Fergus Falls, MN has a variety of eating, drinking establishments and Hotel/Motels to chose from while hunting here. Fergus Falls is a quiet town located on the edge of the prairies, and lakes area. It is located 2.5hrs north west of The Minneapolis / St Paul, MN area, and 1hr south east of Fargo, ND.

Thousands of mallards are harvested annually; big, beautiful ducks, that fly fast - very fast! A perfect spot to take the novice shooter, as the ducks just keep coming. It is also a great way to get those special guests the chance to get their share of shooting until you think they have had enough. Your dog will love the hunt, as it is a great spot to do both water and land retrieves. Must be a member to hunt ducks.

When looking for a great guided goose hunt it just doesn’t get any better than the state of Minnesota. Year in and year out more geese are killed in the state of MN than any other state. There are two large contributors to this. Minnesota goose hunting guides First the state has a large resident goose population due to an abundance of crop land and water. This has led to a boom in the breeding population of Canada geese in the state. While this may not sit well with golf course superintendents this creates a great opportunity for goose hunters in September and October. Second the state is located in the heart of the Mississippi flyway, one of the largest flyways in the US. Every year hundreds of thousands of geese and ducks migrate through the state of Minnesota.

Book your reservation and pre-pay for your birds by September 20th and receive a discount. All hunting is by reservation only. We are available for hunts seven days a week. PREMIER CANADA GOOSE HUNTING AND DUCK HUNTING AT THE FAMOUS LAC QUI PARLE REFUGE - Lac qui Parle has historically held 100,000-150,000 Canada geese each fall. This makes for excellent goose hunting and we have exclusive access to over 10,000 acres of private land. The regular season starts in late September and runs through mid-late December. Starting in 2015, we’ll be offering guided goose hunts in the early goose season in the western Minnesota Intensive Harvest Zone. Geese aren’t the only member of the waterfowl family that spend a lot of time ithe fall at Lac qui Parle. Mallards, wood ducks, teal, gadwall, ring bills, canvasbacks, and more can all be hunted at the Watson Hunting Camp. We’ve got private sloughs with permanent heated duck blinds that load up with puddle ducks and our heavy-duty 20″ Beavertail boat can get into those hard-to-reach areas that ducks love and also handle the big water where the divers hang out.
